Honey's deceptive practices land PayPal in hot water, class action filed
YouTuber and lawyer Devin Stone (LegalEagle) has initiated a class-action lawsuit against PayPal, the parent company of Honey, accusing the browser extension substitutes creators' affiliate links with its own. The lawsuit, filed in California’s Northern District Court, demands damages and an order to cease these alleged actions, which Stone labels a "scam." PayPal denies the allegations, stating that Honey complies with standard industry practices such as last-click attribution and plans to contest the claims strongly.
